On October 24, 1997 the above charter was created for a Subcontractor Auditing Subcommittee by the then active PSDSRA QA Managers Committee. Later the two groups joined to become the QA Subcommittee. Today we continue to review, define and develop standardized processes for evaluation and assessment of subcontractors, vendors and the sharing of this information. Over time the group has grown in membership and scope to include sharing of NAVSEA Standard Item changes, Naval Ship Repair best practice and information, standardized in-house training and standardization of common procedures.
